The cottage comprises of a bedroom with queen bed and percale linen, en-suite bathroom with shower and toilet, a lounge with open plan kitchenette and a fireplace making cold winter nights cosy and comfortable. The kitchenette itself is fully equipped with a microwave and gas hob. Braai facilities on the veranda make for enjoying memorable nights under the heavy star laden skies with wood being provided. On hot summer days a dip in the reservoir is the perfect way of cooling down. The cottage doesn’t have TV and wi-fi and therefore is ideal for couples who want to get away from it all to a place of tranquillity, peace and simple enjoyment. Only Vodacom reception is available.
The cottage is rented out on a selfcatering basis. Special rates apply for stays of 3 nights and longer. Braaipacks and ready-made meals are available for sale upon booking.
These lodgings are located 10km or 20 minutes by car from the main farm house on Paardekraal. The old 1820 homestead of the Onbedacht farm is located next to Onbedacht Cottage and is currently being renovated.
